JULIE PLUMMER

Julie developed a passion for family law while serving as a Guardian Ad Litem in law school- a program designed for children experiencing family difficulties due to abuse, neglect and abandonment. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University at the Shepherd Broad Law School in Ft. Lauderdale, Julie was hired and worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office. She worked in their child welfare division working exclusively on Dependency and Termination of Parental Rights cases. Her love for children and families drove her to open up a family practice and put children first in her practice of law. After gaining experience as a Prosecutor, Julie opened her own shingle as a family law practicioner next door to her sister, Stacey Plummer, who was involved in her family law practice for 15 years.

During her free time, she is busy with her two young children, is an outdoor enthusiast, loves to ski, horseback ride and hike. She also works as a volunteer for a non-profit animal shelter where she fosters and rehomes many animals each year.

After years of representing clients involved with divorce, child custody, child support, adoption and domestic violence, she decided to join forces with Attorney Trinoskey. The two lawyers together built the family practice even stronger and now have one of the busiest family law firms in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area.
