Aimee, a native of Indiana, graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor in Science and earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. She practiced two years at Gulfcoast Legal Services, representing victims of domestic violence, litigants in dissolution of marriage, custody and child support actions, where she gained valuable litigation experience.
After a short foray into private practice, Aimee joined the Statewide Guardian ad Litem office in Tampa as a Senior Program Attorney. There, she was responsible for litigating dependency and termination of parental rights cases as an advocate for children.
Aimee returned to private practice with The Law Office of Julie A. Plummer in 2007. Julie and Aimee became partners in 2010, forming The Law Offices of Plummer and Trinoskey, PA. When Ms. Plummer made the very difficult decision to leave the practice to spend more time with her young children, the firm morphed into The Law Office of Aimee Trinoskey. Since returning to private practice, Aimee has focused her practice solely on family and matrimonial law to assist clients with their diverse family law issues.
Aimee has a well-established connection and commitment to the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area through various professional and not-for-profit organizations and volunteer work. She is an active member of Inns of Court in St. Petersburg which serves Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit and the Second District Court of Appeals. She also participates and offers pro bono representation to clients involved with various matrimonial matters. She is a member of the Florida State Bar association. Aimee also is committed to assisting the law students at Stetson University College of Law by volunteering her time as a judge for their mock trial competitions that ranks top in the nation.
